It’s that time of year where you can join the Dursley Operatic Dramatic Society in an enchanted land of castles, forests and magical mayhem with our captivating 2024 pantomime, ‘Sleeping Beauty’. Transport yourself to the happy land of Merriville where we find our King and Queen ready to celebrate the birth of their beautiful daughter Princess Rose. Cursed by her wicked Aunt Ophelia, Princess Rose must find her prince in time to make sure that she – and the kingdom – can be saved from a lifetime of slumber! Helped along the way by a team of magical fairies, spooky spiders, a castle jester and her beloved Nanny Nora, will they be able to create the kind of spell they need to defeat the curse?
