Helping us to support the community
Lister Hall Floor Appeal
The Chantry Centre is a unique facility in the centre of Dursley. It is a charitable, non profit, organisation run for the benefit of the Cam and Dursley community.
Income from room hire, and food and drinks sales fund the day to day operational costs of the Centre. However, the income generated does not cover all costs as the trustees need to maintain the fabric of the building and invest in refurbishment plans to provide a vibrant hub for the community.
Over the years, individuals and organisations have been very kind in approaching us with ad hoc donations (both in cash and in kind) either to help the Chantry Centre operate as a community asset or to support a specific development project. Our current focus for 2026 is the Lister Hall Floor Appeal.
Help us do MORE with a NEW HALL FLOOR!

For 100 years, Lister Hall has been the place for our community to celebrate, connect and come together. From dances, celebrations and shows to classes, clubs and meetings, thousands of footsteps have crossed our well-loved wooden sprung floor.
Now, it’s showing its age, and in our centenary year, with your help, we need to raise up to £75,000 to replace our hall floor, to widen the range of activities we can offer, and provide many more years of memories.

If you would like to support the Lister Hall Floor Appeal any contribution, no matter how big or small, would be very gratefully received.
