Northern Soul has always been popular in the area since the 70's with Wigan Casino, Yate, Stafford and the 100 Club being regularly attended. Gloucester has been consistent with regular Soul events thanks to The Gloucester Soul Crew Collective and the Soul on Wax Team. With a resurgence in Stroud thanks to the Five Valleys Soul Club and the Bristol Northern Soul Club getting more and more Popular, Northern Soul is definitely on the Up. 

After a hugely successful evening in May 2025, the event is back with the first Bi-Annual Northern Soul Night of 2026 - keeping the spirit alive and the region’s soul scene spinning!
