The next couple of years will hopefully see many changes to The Chantry Centre as we start to use the S106 money allocated to us to refurbish, repair and enhance many of the facilities. As a first step in this process, the Trustees are pleased to announce the appointment of a Project Manager, Mr Symon Ackroyd, to see that the work happens in an organised manner with the least disruption as possible to the users of The Chantry.
Symon was employed in the IT industry for many years providing Service Delivery and Project Management to a range of companies and brings his wealth of experience to this new role. Symon also has a working knowledge of the Chantry Centre, as he was the last Chairperson of the old Lister Club before its transfer in 2011 and in 2019, he joined the Trading Company as Director supporting the the daily operations of the Centre.
